Hope’s Reward Pre-Order

The newest installment of my best selling Inspirational Medieval series- The ChristKeepers is now available for pre-order. It will be released this Friday- July 23rd.

If you liked the previous novels in this series, you will love this one. It’s the story of Magnus, Earl of Windham [he’s Faith MacAllister’s blacksmith-turned aristocrat brother] and the virgin widow Hope of Windham.

There’s loads of passion, angst, adventure, and a truly uplifting Gospel message in this book. If you like your Christian fiction with some real chemistry between the hero and heroine, you’ll be happy with Hope’s Reward.

Review of One Nation Under Gods

One Nation Under gods

One Nation Under gods

Recently  ONUG received a wonderful review from a man who makes it his avocation to review Christian books in this particular genre. I’m so glad he enjoyed the book. And I’m honored that he would feature the review of it on his website. Most of all, I’m thrilled ONUG not only proved entertaining for him, but spoke to him on a spiritual level. It is always my aim to glorify God with my writing. So it is especially nice to have ONUG reviewed by someone who is both articulate and firmly rooted in a Christian worldview. Magpie’s Masque a Best-Seller!

The Last Broken Promise (small) copy

I just want to take this opportunity to thank all the good folks who’ve read Magpie’s Masque and taken the time to review it on Amazon. Your efforts have helped it stay on the Best-Seller list in its category since it was published!

I’m hard at work beginning the sequel to my Inspirational Regency, The Last Rose Pearl. This new book, The Broken Promise, is the love story of Jessamine St. John [Dylan St. John’s baby sister] and the handsome pirate who was introduced in the epilogue of TLRP.

The book is outlined and researched. I’ll be making a field trip for this one. The site of a Creek Indian massacre of American settlers featured in this novel is only about an hour away from where I live. My hubs and I will be going there one Saturday soon so I can take pictures and plot how the action sequences of the actual massacre will unfold.

As I was doing my research for this novel, I found out one of my maternal ancestors was actually the commander of the fort that was attached by the Indians. I found that very interesting and more than a little unsettling as this particular character is a villain, not only in my novel but in historical fact.

The Last Broken Promise will be available for pre-order soon. It will be published  in the fall.

Thanks again for making Magpie such a success! LNF, Grace

Count Down to New Book Release

Magpie from Magpie's Masque

Magpie from Magpie’s Masque

Life always gets so exciting for me when I get to the one month release count down for a new book. I’m feeling it already for Magpie’s Masque, the third installment of The ChristKeepers series.

I’ve been deep in Medieval London and Scotland all winter. It’s always a wild ride to see where the characters are going to take you. And Rafe and Magpie were especially adventurous.

They veered off outline so much I got to the last three chapters and had to do a rewrite of the first half of the book. But it made for a much tighter read. I’m really pleased with this story and hope you will be too.

I got to see a preview of the book trailer last night. It’s pretty crazy to see your novel interpreted through visual media. I was impressed by how it gave a teaser for the book in under two minutes.

As the release date approaches for Magpie’s Masque, I will be telling more details of the story and even offering a free chapter on my website. But until then, I will let you know that Rafe and Magpie share some unforgettable moments- heartbreaking, romantic, & spiritual.

I’ll be writing more as the release date nears. LNF, Grace

Magpie’s Masque Book Trailer Coming Soon!

Dawn Over Our Bay

Dawn Over Our Bay

The trailer for my upcoming Medieval ‘Magpie’s Masque’ is in the works! I’m really excited about this one. I love book trailers because they are a part of the advertising campaign for each book that helps me visualize the actual story.

I hate to say it, but I’m just not a visual person. Movies are ok. And I love art, from a viewing standpoint, but seeing a novel like a movie in my mind just doesn’t happen for me. So it’s always pretty thrilling for me to see  one of my novels come to life in a trailer.

Now, since I just said I’m not a visual person, let me explain the image with this post. My dear husband of over 38 years is extremely visual. And he’s a great photographer. This picture is a photo he took this morning from one of our decks here at Sea Glass Cottage. It is dawn breaking over our little bay. I think it’s spectacular!

Hope the start to your day was just as beautiful! LNF, Grace

One Nation Under gods Released Today!

Print Cover for ONug

Print Cover for ONug

My Edgy Supernatural Inspy Romance, ONUg, releases today!! Cheers and confetti, roll out the party cake! I’m so glad to see this one published.

ONUg is my most spiritual novel to date. It is also my most edgy. The themes are what lend it its edge. You can’t write about half breed angels, arch demons, and an alternative reality without some darkness. Hopefully, the themes of love, forgiveness, and surrender make up for the smidgen of edginess.

As always, with all my books, this one follows my standard guidelines for an Inspy Romance-  No sex, no explicit cursing, no glamorization of alcohol or drugs. But there’s tons of chemistry between the main characters, and loads of heart stopping adventure. I do love an angsty, heartwarming read. So you will get a serving of that, as well 🙂 , with ONUg,

And I apologize for this one taking so long to  publish.  ONUg was written and rewritten a couple of times. The art and marketing people got portions as the manuscript progressed. Their suggestions helped fine tune the book. I think it’s a better read because of the time spent on it. I hope you do too!

Anyhoo- hope you enjoy it. And most of all I hope God speaks to you through it! LNF, Grace
