Magpie’s Masque a Best-Seller!

The Last Broken Promise (small) copy

I just want to take this opportunity to thank all the good folks who’ve read Magpie’s Masque and taken the time to review it on Amazon. Your efforts have helped it stay on the Best-Seller list in its category since it was published!

I’m hard at work beginning the sequel to my Inspirational Regency, The Last Rose Pearl. This new book, The Broken Promise, is the love story of Jessamine St. John [Dylan St. John’s baby sister] and the handsome pirate who was introduced in the epilogue of TLRP.

The book is outlined and researched. I’ll be making a field trip for this one. The site of a Creek Indian massacre of American settlers featured in this novel is only about an hour away from where I live. My hubs and I will be going there one Saturday soon so I can take pictures and plot how the action sequences of the actual massacre will unfold.

As I was doing my research for this novel, I found out one of my maternal ancestors was actually the commander of the fort that was attached by the Indians. I found that very interesting and more than a little unsettling as this particular character is a villain, not only in my novel but in historical fact.

The Last Broken Promise will be available for pre-order soon. It will be published  in the fall.

Thanks again for making Magpie such a success! LNF, Grace
